Tropical Cyclone Alfred is expected to impact the southern Queensland coast in the coming days. You may be aware that our team operates from our offices and Brisbane, and as such reside in the Warning Zone for TC Alfred. We are continually monitoring the developing situation to ensure the well-being and safety of our team members.

As at time of publishing, we endeavour to remain operational through this period with a reduced staff. this may result in extended wait times when contacting our contact centre, or emailing. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this severe weather event.

Customer Support & Claims Processing

  • We will do our best to maintain service levels, but delays should be expected if the cyclone significantly impacts infrastructure or our team’s ability to work safely.
  • Claims can still be submitted, and we will process them as soon as possible.

Emergency Assistance

  • 24/7 emergency assistance remains available for travellers in need—this service is unaffected.

What Distributors Need to Know

  • We recommend setting expectations with customers regarding potential delays.
  • Our team will provide updates as soon as we have more clarity on the situation.
  • If there are urgent distributor-related matters, please email Kay and Dee as they are outside of the affected area and it will be business as usual for them.

We will provide updates here at The Travel Hub, and via email as they become available.
